The Lord Jesus is not unfamiliar to me because my mother and my many relatives are believers in the Lord. I often followed my mother to church when I was still a young boy. As I was still young then, I often to church that I may play with my friends. When I grew older, I stopped going to church with my mother.

In June 2009, Feng Sen brought me to church and I understood who God is. I thank God for everything. It was He who arranged for me that I might enter God’s kingdom. My faith, however, was weak. I often strayed away from God. I thank God that He did not forsake me . He preserved me that I might not perish.

After attending Sunday Worship several times and completing the 5 lessons of Basic Bible Class, I finally understood the importance of attending church. The church is the pillar of truth: It is the “pillar and foundation of the truth”: “If I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in the God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth” (1 Tim 3:15).

I thank brothers and sisters for their caring love. I also thank Pastor Andrew Tan for meticulously teaching us that we may understand God’s Word, believe the Lord’s great strength and great love and that I may become a person pleasing to God.
