I used to be someone who was more demanding: Whether it concerned work or money, I was determined to achieve what I set out to obtain.  I had always been very concerned about my family and children.  I was, however, very stubborn and tended to be argumentative and was not receptive to the gospel and truth.

Shu Chang later believed in the Lord and I often went to church with her.  I got acquainted with Christian friends.  They advised me not to be easily angered over all matters.  As I always wanted to be the leader in all affairs, they also advised me to learn to give in to others.  I attended church for about 10 years.  Due to work commitments, I stopped attending church.  In the recent few years, my family faced some difficulties.  I went back to church again in the hope that this will help me to get along better with my family.  After attending Tree of Life Christian Church for some time, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I received Jesus as my Lord and Saviour that He may wash away all my sins.

Later, I fell ill in the month of February, I was admitted to Intensive Care Unit.  During this period, many brothers and sisters in the Lord and relatives visited and cared for me.  As I struggled with my illness, I prayed to God to take care of me.  I asked God to send doctors to heal me and to allow the operation to be successful.  The Lord indeed took care of me and hence I decide to be baptized.
